This event was created with the intention of having a forum for professionals to address changes in the braking industry and provide a space to share their ideas. We are therefore delighted to be able to participate once again on behalf of rimsa and to present for the first time our partner: Innovamat, in order to showcase sustainable development solutions in the friction sector.
Our friction team and our CEO will be present with a booth during these days, in addition, our Innovation Director, Dr. Carlos Lorenzana will present:

In this lecture we will show some of the changes in tribochemistry and friction response related to the use of coatings, with different carbide coatings. Through our Innovamat brand we are focused on contributing to solving the challenges of the friction industry and beyond, in this case by creating a new range of MMC powders for rotor coating that maximizes carbide content while avoiding the use of any strategic metals.
We hope to contribute with this work to how coating parameters can affect the friction behavior of friction materials, allowing the community to find new ways to use more sustainable materials for wear resistant coating.
